Brown algae

My reef yank is about 3 years old I recently switched to reef crystals about 5 months ago from io I have been gettinh brown algae on my equipment and on my coralline algae its weird my coralline is covered in brown and mu powerheads are to you yhink its the salt all perimeters are normal.

Need to know all your water parameters. Type of water used etc.

Reef crystals are still made by instant ocean though.....anything else change? What type of lighting do you have? Is it possible the bulbs need to be changed?

I check my alk with salifert test kit 2 hrs ago it was low 6.5 and cal was 500

Well lil update I used seachem p.h buffer I got my alk up to 8.3 today..

Im gonna start dosing esv b-ionic 2 part alk/cal tonight... hope this will help keep my alk & cal stable.
