Brown algae

I'm gettin a lot of brown algae in my aquarium What should I do??
I keep my lights on for about 9 hours a day. Is that to much or to little light?
Or is it something else?? Thanx

Im going to take a guess and say your tank is relatively new, so those would be Diatoms, and don't worry, they will die out in due time by themselves.

This + if it is hair algae we are talking about then look at nutrients or maybe bulb change time

Actually my tank is relatively new. Jus about a month old
