I had dino 5 times in 5 months. When it's been over , it started all again in a week. I found the solution that No3 and Po4 was 0 ppm all times. When I balanced pellet reactor , it didn't happen again.
You need to have 4 ppm NO3 and 0.03 ppm po4 in your tank. It is required. If you didn't have , you have a low nutrient system and your tank will be dino again.wait what? your saying the cause was that your no3 and po4 was zero? that doesn't make any sense to me
yes. turn the refugium lights off also. Unless you found out why it happened , you would see dino afterwards. Maybe in 1-2 months. But you will not see any dino after 6 days of treatment.okay I'll look into the algae x but when I'm blacking out my aquarium do I need to turn off the refugium light too
I am having the the same issue now myself.
GFO , Carbon also breeds the dino algeas as my local aquarium shop said.I don't use a pellet reactor, I just have a BRS dual reactor ( gfo, carbon ) not sure what you mean by ulns
I had the same stuff after running biopellets for some months. The tank since been torn down and replaced. Just saying the 2 could be related. Iv'e heard of (sluff ?) build up can be caused by overuse of the pellets.
Any OP's ?
