brown algae

I am bringing my tank back to life.
My tank has been up and running for about 3 years. I have recently changed out leds (rapid led aurora run on a low power) I have added an ati t5 dimmable that i got used. I now have a brown algae outbreak on rocks sand and glass. I really think I had them set too high too long. would this cause the algae?

it could be old bulbs but I was running 12 hours at 100% so i believe that's the cause just looking for some feedback
