I have had my tank going for a month or so and my light is setup but I only have a pair of clown and hermit crabs and my brown algae is getting out of control what can I do to get rid of that?

No need to blackout, it may be unsightly but just let it ride. One day you will wake up and it will all be clear.

Really. It’s my first saltwater tank ever it’s a innovative marine 30L with one aiprime 16 and its growing algae like crazy. Thanks for all the help

Of the tank? I don’t have a picture of the brown algae but this is what I got.

Has it cleared yet? Did you just ride it out? Did you do any glass cleaning while waiting for it to clear?

Yea it went away I had to wait it out but it’s all gone. I did clean glass but we’re all going to have some sort of algae right. It never goes away.

I've decided to do the same, ride it out. Algae build up on glass seems to have stabilized. I'm going to let the snails take care of what's there for now before cleaning again.
