Welcome!
Pics might help with discussing this situation. There are different types of brown algae. If it is dinos, then we'll have to discuss means of eradication. However, if your tank is new and cycling, it seems quite possible this is just diatoms algae, which would go away on its own.

Welcome!

No experience with that product. Posts 3 & 2 already have good info.

We really need some pictures for correct ID, but I purchased some Dino X but never actually used it so I can’t say either way. I still have the bottle.

I did a 3 day blackout and that worked in my S650 when it was relatively new.

Welcome as well!

Hello and welcome to the channel. For dinos, we have had them before. We did not perform any water changes but keep using a brush to brush down everything in the tank. We use 10-micro sock filters. Plus something different, I used a maxi-jet powerhead and attached a short hose to the outlet, placed the MJ into the tank, and using a 10-micro sock filter, pumped the water into it. Of course...there was more that we did.
