I made a gamble of removing some old rock and replacing with dry rock (looked better for the aquascape), now I have thin strands of algae. Is it likely diatoms? I doubt it to be Dino’s, as they show no movement under the microscope. I have no experience with microscopic organisms though, and wanted some opinions. As far as treatment, I plan to slowly raise NO3 while implementing a UV sterilizer, until my nitrates are stable enough to reduce their population (if applicable)

Zoa dominant mixed reef, has been cycled for 7 months, corals have been in for 2 months.
Please note: I had just done a water change prior to photo, so I’m unsure if the bubbles are micro bubbles from the filter or produced by the organisms in question.
