Hi guys I'm new to all this and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing this brown slimy alge has been growing for about two weeks now and getting worse I don't know if I should be doing something or just let it go.
Also I have a spotted moray in the tank that I caught on the boat I work on thinking it would be cool to have but he is growing super fast and I kind of want to get him out and let him go but it almost seems impossible to do without destroying everything in the tank.
Any ideas on how to do this.
Thanks

What are your water parameters? Age of tank? Photos with white light? please provide more information but in the meantime suggest trying to suck algae out as part of your water change - problems are easiest to control when still small problems

Agree you may have to disassemble some of your tank to catch moray, but there are lots of online DIY fish traps you might try to minimize how much aquascape & etc you have to take apart (maybe for short while put in saltwater filled plastic bins?). Good luck!

Also po4 is between 1 and 3

My GUESS is your window, too much sunlight causing algae bloom
Yes I was thinking that there is two windows on the left side of the tank I keep the blinds closed behind the tank 24/7 don't know if it helps but my lights are on a timer about the same as daylight

blinds don't keep out the UV as much as you think - near your tank you might try cardboard between window and blinds
