Hey, I got another algae bloom, unfortunately, but its apart of the hobby, however, it's like sitting on the surface of my water. I don't have great flow right now saving up for nice power heads so my flow is down lower in the column, what can I do to get the algae off the surface? (if you put your hand in the tank it sticks to your hand like a dip almost)

Could you use a cheap air pump with an air stone? That might agitate the surface enough to maybe prevent the algae.

I do have a spare sitting around, I will shove it behind my overflow and try that out!
