New Tank syndrome...get ready for more of it..., just watch so that it doesn't get too out of control
Agreed, looks like diatoms. I've found new tanks tend to get this, likely from silicates in the sand and equipment. Here is a page for more info: https://reefstable.com/solutions/diatoms
