Brown, branching worm?

I decided I would look through my dark tank this evening and found something I have never seen in there before. Can anyone give me an idea of what this might be?

Pics very bright but i see what I believe is either spaghetti worm or peanut worm

I thought it was a root from my mangrove but it came out of a hole and went back in. No algae in this tank.. fingers crossed. Was just fishing in case it was bad and someone might recognize it.
