I just received this White Tail Kole Tang from TSM Aquatics today. They do a legit QT, so I was planning on putting him right in the DT, but I've noticed white poka-dot marks and a brown bump on his dorsal fin. The white marks seem to be indicative of shipping stress, according to other posts online, but it's this bump that has me concerned/curious. Anyone have any thoughts?

Water parameters are god-only-knows what due to just receiving him in the mail. Note: pictures below are through a plastic bag, as he's still going through aclimation (in the QT).

White lighting for pics always helpful as I cant tell if dots in pics are on tank glass or fish. If it is on fish and looks like salt grains- its unfortunately ich. While fish is quarantined , it can via shipping endure stress which will trigger parasites , even temperature if bag arrived cold.
Quarantined fish does not discount acclimation or even your own quarantine or bath process. It just lessens chances.
How did you acclimate and for how long ?

If you see salt grains, it will be followed by increased respirations in time. In quarantine, you would treat with
coppersafe or general cure with coppersafe being my choice at therapuetic level 2.25-2.5 monitored with a reliable copper test kit such as Hanna brand, not Api
Also monitor ammonia level with a reliable test kit during treatment and would not be a bad idea to add an air stone for added oxygen during treatment
You will also need to leave display tank FishLess (Fallow) for at least 6-8 weeks to assure the cysts and trophants have completed their life cycle without a host and have died off
As for dorsal bump, may be a fluke but not lympho from what I can tell

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately the dots are not on the fish, but food and waste in the bag. Fairly confident it's not ich. Will do my own QT process and proceed with caution from here. Thanks for the tip on flukes.

I do not see a 'brown bump' on the dorsal fin - (I perhaps am blind:)) - could you post a picture under white light - with an arrow pointing to it?

I wouldn't worry about the brown bump on the dorsal fin - that isn't a symptom of any major disease, may be a broken fin ray.

The white spots are too large to be ich, and may just by incidental damage from shipping.

@MnFish1 @Jay Hemdal @vetteguy53081 You're all awesome, thanks for responding.

The white spots are fading even overnight, thinking stress due to shipping.

Fortunately, the 'bump' seems to be on both sides. Going with Jay's thought of either some injury, or healed injury. But wiill still skip going to the DT for a little while and proceed with caution.
