Brown diatom control

I have a brown diatom algae problem in my tank, I also have a refugium. Is there a way I can use some sort of additive or chemical like phosguard to deal with the diatoms without damaging my refugium macro algae ? Thanks.

Can you give us more information. Age and numbers including phosphates and nitrates. S pic will help

The tank is about 2 months old
Nitrates: 2 ppm
Phosphates: 0.3 ppm
Nitrite and ammonia: 0
DKH: 8.5
PH: 8.4
Magnesium: 1200 mg/l
Potassium: 340 mg/l
Calcium: 380 mg/l
Iodine: 0.03
I use a RO/DI unit for my water and the usual TDS is about 2-11 ppm.
Unfortunately I do not have a photo, sorry.
