I don't know if its diatombs or what but this is what happened,

So i was running saxby preset on my ai prime hd for a few months and everything was fine. But the saxby preset is on like 20 something hydras so i figured that the preset maybe for higher qaulity light. So i set it to the AB+ from BRS that they did the test on . A few days later i noticed that my sandbed is starting to turn brown.

Is the light to strong then or what is the problem ?

Dont have access to a par meter.

All other water parameters are in spec and not using tap water. Using RODI unit.

Nothing changed accept the light preset.

Should i wait it out or should i lower the intensity or what can i do ?

"Brown stuff" would need to be examined under a microscope to see what it is. Could be diatom, could be dinoflagellates.

So why suddenly after preset change. Its running at higher wattage now with ab + than with saxby. Thus higher par i would believe. Dodnt have anything with saxby preset.
