So my tank has been cycling and now it's covered in like brown dust everywhere is this something I should clean out and where did it come from? What should I do?

There are types of algae and Cyanobacteria that have a brownish look to them. You’re likely seeing one of these two things. If you’re cycling I would doubt that it’s Cyanobacteria unless you have a lot of decaying material in your system. It’s hard to know for sure without seeing a picture of what you’re talking about.

Probably diatoms if new tank .
If so natural part of a new tank starting to slowly mature.
Can get certain cuc that eat certain algaes and at certain points of what gets called ugly stage

It’s perfectly normal to have a stage when algaes or Cyanobacteria emerge pretty heavily in a newly cycled aquarium. As Ying Yang mentioned it’s all part of an ugly strange that new systems go through and you just have to power through it. Your setup will eventually find a sort of biological middle ground but it takes time. So be patient and don’t try to rush anything.

Diatoms. Will go away on own. Let it run its course

Diatoms, they only lasted 3 weeks on my tank i believe. Lfs told me to dose microbacteria from brightwell daily and i think it helped. But mostly because of my diamond goby and 2 turbo snails.
Right now im in the green corralline algae stage. Hoping it turns purple, but who knows when..

So I gotta go through algae stages before my tank is considered cycled or aged?

If you have diatom your headed in the right direction. If you test your water and its at the right levels you can add fishes and corals if you didnt already done so.
