Brown film algae?

I have been fighting this brown film algae for months, I'm not sure what it is. I do a water change and try to get as much out as possible but it just comes back. It comes off the glass and rocks really easily. It's on my rocks, sand, and glass. Can anyone give me the name of this algae? Thanks!!

How old is the tank? Is it slimy to touch and can you blow it off rocks and sand/glass or do you have to scrape?

How old is the tank? Is it slimy to touch and can you blow it off rocks and sand/glass or do you have to scrape?

The tank is around 6 months old, it is slimy to the touch but I do have to scrape it off. It isn't that hard to scrape off but I can't seem to blow it off the rocks.
