I got a hammer coral at a frag swap. When I got it home and inspected it, I discovered 6 brown flatworms moving on it. I removed them and did a coral Rx dip. New frag plug. I can't cut off the bottom of the coral since it is a hammer.

I put it in a zip lock baggie with new water and am floating it in my coral QT for the night to protect the other clean corals in QT.

What do you suggest I do? Should I just ditch the coral and not risk it? Or can I realistically get it clean?

Really wouldn’t make any sense to throw away the coral that was supposed to go in a coral QT.
If it was me I would move all the clean coral to another tank
