Brown forming on sand

Is it bad? What can I do to remove it or do I leave it? Please help thanks

Just stay consistent with ur water changes, otherwise that stuff can get out of control pretty bad!

No, water changes will do nothing for diatoms, and unless you have a constant source of silica they will not get out of control.
