Brown hair algae impossible to beat!!

How are you getting on Will?
Hi! I have now removed my sand bed as it was too fine and I am switching to special grade. Before I removed the sand bed the dino had almost all gone, just a couple of small patches. It had also completely gone from the rockwork so I would say the battle was 95% won. Ive added more dry rock and soon to be a new sand bed so I'm hoping the dino doesn't return to these new surfaces. Hopefully the uv and nutrients above 0 will keep it away. We shall see!

My tank done on cycling algae. It starts to turn into this........

Nice one, when are you adding the new sand? Did you go with that special grade live sand the one I bought?

I went for the dry version special grade In the end. It looks like its going to be the perfect grain size. I'm just experimenting with my rock at the minute. Cant quite get it right :D
