Got this BTA last Wednesday , guy in the lFS seemed a bit rough with it taking it of a stone ,it's not been doing so well , I'm not sure if this has anything too do with my raised salinity problem or with his rough handling .!
I'm afraid too ask , but is this brown jelly on my BTA ?
Should I pull it out and dispose with it ?

BJD no.

I'd like a clearer pic if you can. You will probably want to give it a medicated or cleaning dip.

I'm no nem whisperer.

Hang on Jason.

Looking for a nemspert.
I'm still busy sorting my salinity out .. bought a new Eheim 200 thermometer today to replace the broken one I found yesterday ..! Now this ....:(:(:(:( I seem too be killing everything .. I'm so frustrated right now .. but I'm just trying to deal with one problem at a time ...

Funny we all go through moments like this.
If it's not one thing it's everything. lol
Yes I'm learning that slowly Jason .. I have a lot of patience normally , and I know I'm gonna loose some corals at sometime or other, fish also , I have too accept it .. don't like it .. none of us do I know .. on a positive note .. I'm happy with my new lights and that spurs me on .. I've waited 6 months too get them .. now I can use all my tank :p

That's actually good.
I can't find my fav nem site. Arrg.
I theory you should be able to give it a light iodine dip to cut the infection and clean it.

I recall some nem guys reccomending mela fix but can't find confirmation.

Here's a bit of why I did find http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2271385

If you have a good nem basket or critter keeper I'd use it.

I honestly don't know the danger of having it pass in the tank. I lost one to a powerhead and I belive everything but the nem survived. That was a 30g long ago.

That's a bad tear. never should have been sold to you. the best thing you can do right now is nothing. just keep your eyes on it. you'll know when it starts to die because it will fall apart. I would not recommend iodine, cipro, or any other medications as those haven't been proven to work, and they can just cause further agitation. keep it out of heavy flow and make sure critters/fish don't disturb it. it can come back!

Thanks for the advice #cromag08 , it has moved its self out of the flow and is now hiding under a rock all shriveled up .. it doesn't look good !
