Hello, im new to frogspawn just got this guy a month ago. No changes to water and the only change is that a got a torch on the opposite end of the tank. It started receding 3 days ago. Tried target feeding it some blended mysis before I noticed the jelly. Got as many pics as i could. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use a piece of paper towel to grab any lose jelly and when you remove the coral (which I would and re-dip in something like Reef Primer).

I appreciate it. Sadly it dies a few days later. I will keep this in find if it ever happens again.

I feel that. It was my first frogspawn so it is pretty rough. I'm going to be more careful with them for sure.

for the future, Siphon up the substance with a 3/8" tubing and discard. I see red slime algae in the tank which may be a contributor and also suggest you may have elevated phosphate and even nitrate.
