Just noticed a row of brownish globs. Best way to describe it. It doesn't really look like bubble algae and is moving in the flow. They are on my clowns rock where they always hang out, sleep and clean it. They also rub themselves on it. Is it possibly eggs that they have just laid in the past few hours? Or just some sort of algae or something

It's hard to tell. My clowns lay eggs regularly. They are distinctly orange and super tiny, but they lay a ton of them. They also fan them regularly and typically end up eating them (I think).

I am leaning towards probably not clown fish eggs, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, It was because it looks like a cluster on the left and it's moving like jelly in the flow (back and forth) but like it's bouncing. I don't think it's eggs as the clowns aren't interested in it. Do snails lay eggs? Maybe my ceriths are breeding or something.

Most likely a slime algae with oxygen bubbles trapped inside, or dinoflagellates.

A clearer photo would help, does it look anything like this?
