So for about 2 months I have had this duncan and honestly it looks great. Popping new heads right and left and I feed it often with mysis. I didn't notice till today, when I was adjusting his position slightly and he fully closed that the backside of him is much more brown than the green front side of his skeleton. His coloring has been awesome and I don't think it just suddenly changed, I just haven't noticed. Besides the pic no signs of stress or anything like that at all. pic isn't great but I can try to get more if requested

I think it's because that part of the skeleton isn't getting light. Ours was the same way when the polyps were so large they shaded the skeleton but still was still healthy. I think you have nothing to worry about. Now that we messed things up and the polyps are smaller the skeleton is getting a bunch of green on it.

That makes a lot of sense, the polyps are so large they shade the entire skeleton so good to know it may be because it's doing so well!
