Looks like brown goo. Smells like death.

When the coral tissue decays, it can (not always , promote the growth of the bacteria responsible for BJD.
IF you see it. Clean off the wound with a coral cleaner or iodine. A reef safe anti biotic will also work. Not as easy though.

Dont blow it off with a turkey baster. Suck it up out of your tank. I watched all my euphyllia die in week or two. Torches, hammers, duncans. All gone. Huge colonies!!!
Said id never get euphyllias again. But just love em so here i go again collecting crazy colored ones lol!!
