So my Duncan coral fell on top of my torch about a day ago, and it was stung very badly. Today I see that the Duncan is covered in this brown substance. Is this brown jelly? How could this have happened from a mere sting??

It may be decaying/dieing flesh from being stung. Duncans really don't do well against other coral stings.

If you can, try dipping the coral in coral rx as a means to save the coral. If it is brown jelly, the dip may very well stop it from taking over, you may lose a head a or too from the added stress, but you may not lose the entire coral.

Thanks, will try to get a hold of some, really sucks that this happened, really hoping it’s not brown jelly. Guess we’ll see by the end of the day...
