Brown Junk Floating In My Saltwater Bucket

I'm buying a couple buckets of saltwater from my LFS and i've started noticing brown junk floating in it after 10-20 days. Is that normal? Can i still use the water?

The picture was after 20 days of sitting. I didn't use and washed out the buckets and get new water at the LFS. Now after 10 days i'm seeing it back in the water (video).

do you know what brand of salt mix they're using? I know that some brands of sea salt can develop a yellowish/brownish base after sitting for a while. It might have something to do with inconsistent element mixing at the factory, or some other aspect that I'm not very familiar with. Maybe try a different mix or try getting it from somewhere else and see if that will change anything.

That is most likely a variety of salts precipitating out of the water. That can happen (depending on the salt mix used) particularly if you're heating and/or aerating the water. It's better if everything stays in solution, but it's probably fine to still use it----most of us get precipitate from time to time. Just make sure your salinity is correct before using it.
