Brown mark under firefish's eye

I have a firefish, and this morning I noticed a brown mark under his eye. It also looks like there is some sort of bruise (?) to the left of the mark. Is this the sign of a disease?

He also crams himself into a tiny hole in a rock every night, so it could possibly be that. Thanks!

Is the mark only under its right eye?
Is the fish still feeding o.k.?
How long have you had the fish?

Yes, only under the right eye. Fish is feeding fine. I've had the fish for ~6 months.

Well then, that isn't a sign of any of the common communicable diseases, so I think you're correct in thinking it is just a bump/scrape. I don't see any treatment warranted.....
