I didnt dip them . As i was in a rush home last night after i buy them. The tank is not in the house i am living now. lfs told me the coral have been with them for a long time in same tank with other good sps.I hope you dipped them good, I'd recommend to remove them from original "rock" next time
Good luck

Yes i kept it at lower level away from high par area. If pe is bad i will move it up next week. ThanksAs others have wisely mentioned, always dip!
Also, most Millies like higher par, so be sure to slowly move it up as it acclimates to your lights
Thanks i will update in 1 weeks time if coral is still not rtn or stn. Those are two nice little colonies you have there! Should be interesting to see how they turn out![]()
It's the excitement of finding a diamond in the rough. Get the coral for next to nothing and it turns into an absolute gem. Happens a lot in this hobby. I'm patient and I'd rather spend 20 dollars and watch it color up then spend 300 just to watch those awesome colors fade into something else. To each his own and one of the many things I love about this hobby.+1, on the dipping, but dipping doesn't get everything, so most QT, especially from the LPS
Sorry, but need to ask, Why would you ever buy a coral (s) with no color ??? At any price?
Sorry, but just haven't seen that part of this hobbyIt's the excitement of finding a diamond in the rough. Get the coral for next to nothing and it turns into an absolute gem. There's a thread on here to show some real nice pieces. It's not for everyone to buy a browned out piece just like buying a showstopper for many hundreds of dollars isn't for everyone. That's why I said to each his own.Sorry, but just haven't seen that part of this hobby
Brownies as we have dubbed them can be awesome or can be duds. That's half the fun. My midnight sunrise millie started as a brown boring nothing. Today it's one of the best millepora I've seen.Sorry, but just haven't seen that part of this hobby
What are all of your parameters at? Have you ever used a PAR meter to see what your levels are at?Early Update one of my small millie frag got rtn overnight, poor pe since first day i buy it from a fellow reefer. Birdnest got burn think my led too bright, i have since reduce the light and move it away from high intensity area. As for the 2 brownies , one on right color faded more seem bleaching . Dose more coral food. If no improvement i will move it to higher light intensity next week.![]()

One of my small millie frag have poor pe and got rtn overnight. All other sps millie have pe.If a coral you have not dipped is showing poor PE and light tan colour, I'd dip ASAP, even more being a millepora. I learned it the bad way, if your parameters are ok and stable, check for pests.
