My live rock and sand have a weird orange algae growing on them.

And diagonosis or advice would be greatly appreciated.

How is the tank?
I ment how old is the tank.

First off, nothing yet screams Dinos. This tank looks very new with live rock pieces mixed with dry rock pieces. We could be seeing common diatoms.

Roughly 12 days.. I kinda rushed into it with the coral... But I have seen no signs of them becoming ill.

I would say it's just diatoms. If the rock was mature before adding to the tank, adding coral this quickly is perfectly fine. I did the same with my first tank and it was very successful overall.

Diatoms will go away on its own. Pods and snails will eat it up. The reason you have them is from silicates leeching from new tank, equipment, rock, and sand. They will not harm the tank.
