Hey guys I picked up this huge colony of Pink? Frogspawn up for dirt cheap, I buy rescue or dying corals and try to play Capt Rehab with them. anyway this coral is supposedly rare but Who knows. Anyway now that the soft tissue is starting to poke out of the skeleton I notice these blotches on it. I have been a reef keeper for 10 to 22 years and never until now had to deal with these. my aquarium is a low nutrition set up if they are flat worms will they starve out or should I get this flat worm exit stuff, I have a Wrasse and a damsel they pick them off the coral but don't seem to eat them.

Freshwater dip until they all fall off is usually my go to method.
Do you think as bad of shape this coral is in will the fresh water kill it?
