What is it and how do i get rid of it ?

Tank established about a year kinda looks like dino(had before) but way more slimier like mucus almost like cyano. If it is cyano i had the red stuff and did chemiclean treatment like 3 month ago, it all went away...

Had dino before and this looks way slimier ...
Could it be slimey version of dino?

Ive had Dino grow in just about every refugium ive had. I think there's a direct correlation to poor or diminished flow and Dino growth.

This is correct!
Keep in suspension and don't let settle. Hard to defeat reproduction with the porous rock work we use.

Russ has just posted similar post dino invasions like this, similar color and morph though his was more bound to the substrate. interesting, still working on id don't know its amazing. amazing that its associated with dino battles x2 posts now

on that note, mental note this could be alt dino morph/rebuilding phase/encapsulation phase, who knows. fair to ponder though.

So been dosing 3% h2o2 @ 1ml/10g for the 3rd day and its definitely turning white/dying...
Still worried that itll spread to other parts of tank but so far havent noticed

So its spreading an not going away, ive been dosing just the tank now 1/ml per 10g instead of spot treatment.
Will keep it up another week and hope fully it goes away.

also gonna stop adding seachem reef plus / coral frenzy/ marc weiss combo vital for a bit. I have a large felling one of these def was/is the culprit...

so I have had my tank for almost a yr now I went thru the stages of the cycle then I had a big hair algae out break and I let it run its course and no I'm back to this stringy nasty brown algae I would say 100x worse this these pics I have a 75 gal with about a 15 gal refuge I do a 15 gal water change every week with RO/DI water. I feed like 2x a week just cuz theres not much in my tank..so plz if this h202 works post more about it plz

Go for it, 3% H2o2 1ml per 10gal cant hurt . You should do daily doses for at least 2 weeks and you can try to up dosage after a week.

So far its not helping and the dino is spreading, after my direct doses it dies off/turns whiteish but then come back. Whereas if i just dose tank i cant see much difference ...
Unfortunatley im getting spots all over my tank but will keep up dosing for another week/2.
Im pretty sure it was my dosing of amino/vitamins/coral food that caused this so i stopped that for now...

How often of a water change wld u recommend and how much wld u change out?

from my understand dont even do a water change.
Someone mentioned it on this thread and i read in a few other places it best not to do water change....
