Brown spot on Favia

There was a brown reddish color spot that looked somewhat similar to cyano. I blew it off and this is what was underneath it. Can anyone help identify this please?

Looks like dead skeleton to me. Probably not anything to worry about. If you're worried though, you could always cut it off.
