Brown spot on scopas tang

Hello All, I noticed a spot on my scopas today had it for about a month wondering if maybe it nicked itself on something? Or if I have a bigger problem. Little brownish color behind it's eye. I tried to get a better picture but thing is fast and can be a little shy sometimes unless its feeding time. Eats great pebbles, Nori, mysis you name it. Anyone have an idea?

Looks like he scraped himself on something possibly but hard to tell with the pics. I know first hand how hard it is to take pics of these guys though lol

Yeah its a true pain to get a pic of him haha. Quite the character he will come up to the glass right to me then realize I'm not feeding and zip back behind the rocks. I got this picture RIGHT before he turned and put the burners on haha.

Looks like a simple scrape to me. Should heal on its own. Watch for new ones showing up though, that might indicate a bigger issue like flukes.

Typical tang injury as mentioned. Tangs seems to be the ones that never heal nice nd clean up front leaving blemishes
