Hello all! I’ve spent about 2 hours trying to find this specific algae on my glass only and I have had no luck. It doesn’t look bad but I did a 2 day blackout and second day now with lights back on it is returning. It was on some of the corals as well very slightly, but that could have been from me scraping it off the glass and it catching on. Does anyone know what this is? It is nowhere else in the tank, not sand or rocks etc. Thanks!

Weird! It grows quickly, I can see the little ones start out with a single small ‘anchor’ of sorts, then a few hours later they’ve branches into 4-5 different angles with 4-5 new anchors.

Did you have any get on your corals at all? That’s my only worry. I make my RO water at home, and think I may need to update my resin and filter potentially. I set this up 4 months ago after moving from San Diego to Portland and had to tear down my old tank. Had that one 3 years, this one with the proper setup and cycling and dosing etc this is the first sign of anything negative I’ve had (which is a welcome change from my first go-round!)
