Brown Stringy attacking again. Help

Hi- whats this brown stringy stuff comming from my Zoas?? This happened few months ago when my tank crashed i lost half the colony. My friend has been babysitting for me since than and today he noticed it again. What should i do help!!

I have a large colony of AOG's that do the same thing periodically and have had no adverse effects. I have heard it may be due to too high of lighting, but I have never moved this colony. I have a few other paly colonies right next to them and they never have exhibited this "reaction". My colony is still going strong and have not lost any heads that I have noticed.
