Brown Stringy Stuff on my BTA

Hey, whats this brown stuff on my anemone? Should I be worried?

Yeah, mainly beside it, there is a brown patch on the foot and most of the foot does not attach because I thought he died on a filter intake and I cut his foot a little trying to get him off but when I put him in a bucket he squirted this brown stuff everywhere,

cutting the foot of a anemone will result in it dying. It probably released its zooxanthellae due to stress.
Don’t want to come off as rude or mean but you need to do research on reef keeping....seen your other post

I've done two months research before I got a marine tank, I have researched reefing most days for about 3-4 hours and I cannot just type up 'Why is my anemone dying' because there are many things... Maybe so I get a magnifinca anemone... The BTA was fine and then he got bleached a bit like lots of other people have with theirs and like people say 'everyone makes mistakes' I would pay a lot of respect to someone who hasn't had a death in this hobby...

Be covered before you get a anemone because stuff like that happens.

Come on. People make mistakes. He was trying to get it out of a power head. Crap happens. And just assuming somebody didnt do research is rude on your part.

I have a question... What anemone hosts Ocellaris... I plan on a LPS Tank so no magnifincas and I have a coral beauty so no carpets (I do plan on some mini maxis and I mean the Giants) and BTAs I learned were often a rarity, will they host crispa anemones or can I get mine somehow to host BTAs. Also... is it true the black and white Ocellaris clownfish only host in the moonlight.

Guess I’m rude but If you research about anemones you know that they wonder and have a tendency to run into power heads and filter intakes but thank you for helping

I know that, I was waiting for a sponge to arrive for my wavemaker. From amazon but it didn't fit so I am waiting for one

Since its a bubble tip they are more forgiving when it comes to stuff like this and will most likely heal back in a short amount of time

Great... So should I feed it everyday to make up for its zooxanthellae or dinoflaglettes, should I be worried if dinos are going in my tank from an anemone?

I wouldn’t feed it until it’s completely back to normal. The anemone shouldn’t cause dinoflaglettes
