Brown stuff coming from hammer after feeding Reed Roids

I’m assuming this is normal? Looked freakish !!!

I freaked the first time I seen this too. My understanding is that is them essentially pooping. My torch/frogspawn/hammers do some crazy things. I swear one minute I think I killed it then 2 minutes later it looks like nothing happened.
