Brown stuff coming out of my torch

Hi guys, my torch has been looking great, growing, super flowy, etc. Except at around 6-7 pm he shrinks way back and looks bad for an hour, then back to normal. Now today, he has brown slimy stuff coming out of him. Is he just pooping (I dont think so)?

If it were brown jelly disease the heads typically would be closed up and then just melt away, in my experience at least. Definitely just looks like tank fertilizer to me, cause the Torch otherwise looks happy.

Make sure you aren't overfeeding. It's good to supplement with food every few days (but not necessary) but they shouldn't be fed any large amounts of chunky foods on a daily basis.

Will an abundance of food hurt? I feed frozen mysis daily, and because of how big he is, relative to tank size, he pretty much gets something every day. Not usually a whole shrimp, but something.
He looked normal-ish by the end of the night btw.
