Brown stuff growing on coral

There is this brown stuff growing on my Lether coral that looks like algae? I did not think that algae could grow on since they had protection against it can anyone Identify or help me with this?

Usually when any type of algae cyano etc grows on a coral is because part of its skeleton is exposed. Experts will show up to elaborate further good luck

not too sure but shouldnt matter too much as leathers shed to get rid of algae growing on them

I will wait a day to see if it can shed the algae off and then I will try this

The longer you wait the worse off for the coral but ok…
