Hey - I’ve had this stuff since the start of the tank, it just keeps coming back. Worse when the lights are increased. What is it and is there a way (other than relentless and unsuccessful sand sucking..) to remove it.
Thanks

If it's just along the edge of the glass that's fairly normal (we all have that).
Oh. ***** though. Assumed normal as saw it at LFS. Any clever ways to keep it at bay?

I have a nice blend of red, brown, yellow and green on the front edge of my tank. It's basically where the sand-sifting cleanup crew refuse to go (snails clean down until they hit the sand and then stop).

I've got over 100+ burrowing inverts right now and I've had very little success with the front edge. The only time is when they move the sand around and I can get at it with a scraper.

Put a piece of trim around your tank and problem solved.. unless you scrape it every few days it’s always gonna be there lol
Exactly what I did on my 30 remote! I prefer not seeing the 3"+ sandbed so.
Just pulled it to show.
