Brown tube things?

Not sure when these creatures appeared. Are they harmful to my tank? All I have is a gsp coral and live rock.

Vermetid snails. Crush them ASAP. They aren’t deadly but are a major nuisance and can easily get to plague proportions.

The one on the rock is a vermetid snail. I can't make out the other ones. They are relatively harmless. Some people don't like that they cast a "net" that can irritate corals.

Vermetid Snails. I just battled this, and unfortunately it got so bad for me I had to replace my entire rock structure because of it. If you can remove them, do so ASAP. You can add bumble bee snails which could also help. If possible, you could glue the tops of the ones you can reach. Good luck, the sooner you address this the better.

Looks like I’m going to have to start crushing snails when I get home . I still need to know what those flat brown creatures are tho.

Vermetids for sure...may wanna dip your coral frags.

In my experience they have spread like wildfire. If you feed less they will start to dissipate. Eventually they will starve to death and disappear.

Vermetidae is under the class Gastropoda, so they are actually snails not worms - despite being called worm snails.

I am going to try Coral Snow to get rid of them. Mine are not completely out of hand, but a suspect in zoa and stick deaths. Should I post results here or start a new thread? I am told it will take several weeks to a few months for results.

I tossed out every rock and empty frag that was infected.. I Didn’t want to take any chances.
