No matter how many times I remove it. It comes back? Can anyone tell me what it is and how to get rid of it? Did water changes. Cleaned out filters. Still comes back. HELP!

Don’t panic! This is completely normal. It’s algae film, and probably diatoms as well. How old is the tank? Cleaning the glass is a fact of life for all of us.

It’s about 5 months old. After it cycled i had the algae bloom and diatoms. I guess im having an algae bloom again? Should i lower phosphates?

Algae film on your glass = things are GROWING in your tank including corals.

IMO you don't want such low nutrients where your glass is clean for over a week. That means nothing is growing in your tank.

Its algae-control NOT algae-elimination.

Expert level stuff is learning how to dose Tetraselmis Phytoplankton Algae to supply good-algae fir things to grow while it consumes no3/po4. Its the answer that 99% of reefers dont know about

What are your nitrates and phosphates at now? I wouldn’t overreact because that’s when bad things happen. Like I said, we all have to clean our glass whether it’s 5 months old or 5 years old. You’re always going to have a slimy film build up on the glass. I’ve found that adding copepods to the tank can help because the benthic species love to congregate there and eat the film algae. As stated above, adding live phyto is also good because it feeds the copepods and provides competition for pest algae.
