Brownish redish dots on rock work? What are they.

So I have been in the hobby a while and haven't seen this. The tank is 6 months old and I have a little gha. But I have noticed these brown/red ish dots showing up on my rock work. The rocks are artifical painted. There all smallish around the same size and all over the rock work. With a bit of scrubbing I can get it off the rock. Smaller dots are on the glass also take a bit of scrubbing to remove. It doesnt look like coraline at least that i have seen. Any idea what this is?

difficult to say anything at that magnification. Can they be sucked off the rock? or ar they attached? are they crusty (calcified)?

All good questions to keep in mind. If it doesn’t block off, and are attached to the rock, may be Lobophora algae

Do they move? I had red planaria flatworms that looked similar, but if you did a timelapse, you could see them moving around. I got three blue-velvet sea slugs (nudibranch), and they took care of my infestation.

They don't move. And they can be taken off with a toothbrush with a little scrubbing. They domt seem to be fuzzy and they don't seem to change size just more dots keep showing up. The pictures I took were done with a magnifying glass. I'm stumped

looks like vermetid snails starting to encrust...give it some time and they will form the tube.
