brownish yellowish in sand bed

hi,I have a brownish yellowish kind of algae starting to form on my sand bed...Is this ok.

probably just diatoms, if so they will pass on their own 99% of the time. how old is the tank? can you get a pic?

my tank Is 26gl and I set It up 4 weeks ago...I have 4 hermit crabs and 3 turbo snails in it...will there diatoms clear up? should I do anything to my tank?

Yeah it's diatoms. They'll clear up on their own, if they don't then you're getting silicates in the tank either from new water or equipment. But your tank is very young and this is perfectly normal.. It's ugly but there's no need to worry..
