Doser for the alkalinity keeps getting a alk buildup, about 1- 1 1/2" at the tubing outlet. This prevents it from flowing! Looks like a white icecicle! Tube doses fine after removing the buildup. My alk keeps dropping[emoji21] as i forget to look at it . The tube is below, in the water. What can I do to
prevent the build up?

Is your tubing outlet ever coming in contact with the water? Maybe when the return pump is off and the sump water level rises? This can cause buildup like that.

Dilute your alkalinity mix up more, always a good start. Avoid any salt spray and splashing near it so possibly have it angled towards the water

Edit - angled as in not 90 degrees maybe 45-60 degree angle

The tube shouldn’t be in the water. I have have about 6” above.
Yes. The tube is submerged in the sump water. I will take it OUT of the water. I have always kept the tubes submerged. Everything out of the water then? Thanks so much!
