Just a few general questions

Dosing occurs daily, every other day or weekly?

Must alkalinity and calcium be dosed together?
-for example alkalinity is right where you want it and don't want to boost it, what do you do?

Magnesium is only dosed when a complete gallon of alkalinity and calcium have been completed?

Then add the entire gallon of magnesium?

I made the mistake of buying this system before fulling understanding the directions, and am finding a lot of conflicting info out there.

Thats the think. My alkalinity is perfect if not high. I would like to raise my calcium a tough and my magnesium a touch.

Does the alkalinty and calcium have to be dosed together to work?

Do I have to wait till the end to dose the mag?

Use this calculator to raise your CA ang MG to your desired levels:Bulk Reef Supply
Depending on your tanks needs you might not need to dose. You are going to have to test regularly. Lets say your ALK drops 1 point in one week. Use the calculator to figure out how much ALK you need to dose to raise your ALK 1 point. Then you could divide this dose by 7 and dose this amount daily. Just match the CA dose to the ALK dose and this should keep it in line. I believe you dose 20 0z. of the MG supplement to every 128 oz. of CA supplement you use. If you use a salt mix that is high in MG you might not need the MG supplement. Regular testing is the only way you can figure this out. Just make sure you don't mix up recipe 1 and 2 as one is twice as strong as the other.
