Hello!

Thought I would start a thread where we could share some tips and tricks that you might have for mixing BRS 2 Part.

I'm burning through this stuff so I try to make a big batch each time. Well 3 gallons of each because that's all the containers I have.

I use the wide bucket and fill it with 3 gallons of RO/DI water and then use the piece of PVC to mix the solution as I add the dry part. Then I use a container to dip the solution and pour it into my containers via a funnel.

Do you have any tips for mixing or even storing larger amounts of 2 Part?

Buy from a pool supply? Calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate are what they are... from leslies pool supply is hardness plus and soda ash

Hmmmm. I only mix one gallon at a time. I mix it in a jug. For calcium it's pretty easy. For Alkalinity and a little bit for Magnesium I mix a little while then set the jug in hot water from the tap. Mix some more and then let it sit in the hot water. This usually makes it easier to dissolve. With 3 gallons at a time that would be harder to do. If you have a big laundry sink you could do it though.

I mix 5 gallons in the buckets salt comes in. They have tops that keep out air while it sits.
