BRS 2 part or Reef Pro Complete AB

I have just finished cycling my new Red Sea 350. I know it will be awhile before I will be actually dosing the tank, but I was wanting to get some of you experts to give me your opinions on which is best....the BRS 2 part or the Reef Pro Complete AB. I find all kinds of stuff on the internet about BRS but the only reviews I can find on the Reef Pro is from Reef Pro. Has anyone actually compared the two? Thanks!

I've been using BRS 2 part for years. I find it to be easy to use (I dose using BRS 1.1ml dosing pumps that are indestructable). easy to mix (I mix up 7g at a time and store them in potable water containers with spigots for easy refilling of my actual dosing containers), and relatively economical.

What about trace elements? BRS 2 part doesn't have any trace elements but it looks like Reef Pro Complete AB has everything.

Actually, you can cobble together a version of BRS two part with trace elements. You can get a supplement additive for 2 part made by Tropic Marin and you can buy it at BRS.

I have used BRS 2 part for years. In the last year or so, I have been adding in the Tropic Marin supplement. I am not sure if it is a waste of time or not. But the BRS 2 part works fine.

Even with adding supplements, I wonder if nothing helps more than regular water changes.

By the way, BRS 2 part is the only one I have used and I have used the BRS dosing pumps and they work fine.

Or just do water changes with a decent salt for the trace elements. IMHO, if you don't test for it DON'T DOSE IT!!!
