I just ran my rodi like I normally do on Friday night. The waste water seems to be coming out at a normal rate but the useable water is coming out at a accelerated rate relative to normal. It usually takes maybe 1 hour 15 minutes to make nearly 5 gallons. It just did about 1 gallon in 3 minutes. What would cause this?
I haven’t made any changes to it or touched it. Change all the stages back in January

I have the BRS 7 stage water saver 150 gpd and produce 1 gallon in about 10 minutes with a booster pump set at 70 psig.
Has your pressure changed dramatically ?

if Your water temp was colder before and now warmer, that would really be a larger increase in the production rate of those Dow membranes.
Other than that...I would say an ro membrane failure

Do you have city water and a pressure reducing valve on the main? A lot of public water is supplied at a pressure in excess of 100psi and a pressure reducing valve is needed to drop the pressure down to 60psi. If it goes bad your pressure can be well above 60. You can buy a cheap pressure guage at home depot or lowe's that screws on a hose bib to check it.

I don't know if we're on the same page here, but if you're talking about a flow restrictor, that increases the pressure so it forces the water through the membrane.

No, I'm talking about the main water line coming into the house and the water pressure in the whole plumbing system, it's supposed to be around 60psi if you are on city water but could be higher if you have a bad pressure reducing valve on the main water line
