I bought the 7 stage pro RO/DI replacement filter kit from BRS and just replace the filters last week. After making 50 gallons of water my PPM reading at 34 is this normal?

Where is the ppm meter reading? After the ro filter, or after the DI? Do you know what your TDS is out of the tap?

Did you flush out the RO membrane before sending it though the DI? If not you could have exhausted the resin with the RO preservative.

Ro membranes are shipped in a preservative and you should flush the waste line for about 30 minutes. Then send the first 30-60 minutes of product water down the drane before you let the product water go through the di ressin. If you sent that water through the di ressin it could have depleted the ressin very early. That's why I have one of my meters between the ro and the di stage, so I know what kind of water is going into the di ressin. Typically around 2-3 tds going into my di stage.
